Way back in March, Grandma and Grandpa were here. They spent a lot of time with Ian (he had a four day weekend off from school) and Doug and I left him for a whole day for the first time, going to a bed and breakfast nearby for the weekend (hooray!). The best news is that the house Greg is building around the corner is for them to winter in, so for at least part of the year Ian will get to see a lot more of them. On that topic, one of the first things they did was to go watch the second concrete pour at the building site. Ian kept busy working while they waited for the truck:

It was a cold day (hard to imagine now in May!), so Ian and Grandpa bundled up to watch:
