Recent Ianisms

- Tonight, during bedtime routine:
Ian: "I'm hungry!!!"
Doug: "You can eat at breakfast."
(repeat several times)
Ian: "I can't wait til breakfast!"
Me: "What will happen if you have to wait?"
Ian: pause for thought, then seriously, "I'll 'tarve."
Then, realizing from our reaction (laughter) that he could milk it, "You guys definitely wouldn't like me to 'tarve!"

- explaining why he doesn't like cole slaw even though I do, "We have different mouths.". True.

- explaining why he can eat tomatoes again (last week he had a cut in his mouth and tomatoes made it sting) - "The cut in my mouth went doooown through my body and to my toes and out of my sandals so now it's gone!"

- Explaining why it makes sense for Zrbrt to ride in the back of the car, "Then she will have some pwivacy."

- Ian: "I do like pizza with bubbles in it and Janaki does not like it but that's ok because we can like different things (pause) . . . I don't like bubbles either. Like Janaki."
