- Last night I was encouraging Ian to get out of bed himself to get his water even though it was dark. Mommy: "It's a little scary but when do it you can be very proud if yourself." Ian: "I don't want to be proud of myself!!"(then, after doing it) "I am not proud of myself!!"
- Ian: "I want to make a computer. I will need a screen and buttons to push and a thing to go around the buttons and screws and a hammer and the inside parts of the computer.". Definitely his father's child.
