Lukas has been characterized by unusual hair since he was born. Until very recently, his hair has stuck straight up on top all the time. He was also born with a lot of hair, with an interesting patch of white hair. He never lost most of his birth hair as some babies (like Ian) do, and it’s just kept on growing. Although many people were sad to see us do it, as his sideburns were almost in his mouth and he had a mullet in back, we decided to give him a haircut. I didn’t cut the top, just around the ears and back. I used a safety razor which turned out to work quite nicely. Here he is pre-haircut:
