Lukas, Eater

As he is approaching six months old and lately seeming hungry a lot, we decided on Christmas Eve to start him on solids.  Since there’s been some stuff in the news lately about arsenic in rice, we went with oat cereal.  Ian took all the photos to document this event and did quite nicely.  In general Lukas seemed quite happy with his eating experience, despite a few funny faces in the photos below.  Yesterday he had cereal two more times and in both cases seemed eager to eat it.

And I was able to convince him to give up the camera and feed Lukas one spoonful (helpfully demonstrating the need to open his mouth):
