Ian is eating a ton these days. Daycare has just requested that we start packing additional finger foods, because he was hanging out in the kitchen in the afternoons looking for snacks. He now gets 2 bottles of breastmilk (11 ounces), a sippy cup, 2 4 oz. jars of food (fruit and oatmeal for breakfast, vegetables and grains for lunch), Cheerios for snack, and now also some cheese or pasta for more snack. We're expecting him to be quite a bit heavier at his next checkup!
It's really nice to all sit down to dinner in the evening and eat together. This video shows the first time Ian actually ate some of what we were having for dinner - sweet potato fries. You can see that he has some trouble getting things out of his fist and into his mouth after he's picked them up, but he does figure it out. This was taken a month ago (3/5), and he's getting better at this skill:
