Last Monday, Doug and Ian spent the morning together while I worked (from home, since the roads were still icy). They wanted to make a snowman, but the morning snow was too cold and not packing. Next up: sledding. Doug made a valiant attempt to use the bottom part of Lilo's dog crate as a sled, but it didn't go very far, and they came home disappointed. In the afternoon, though, we were able to borrow an old school sled from a neighbor (thanks Sheldon!) and we all went to try again. Much better with an actual sled! We had a fantastic time, and Ian really liked it. He was hesitant at first and wanted to sit up, but he quickly got bolder. Here's his first run going face first down the hill:

I would have fun if someone would pull me back up the hill. It looks like Ian has found at least one good thing about snow.
