Lukas is four weeks old today. He had a checkup yesterday and now weighs 13 pounds. He’s doing well and so far is a relatively easy baby as newborns go. He’s spent a lot of time getting dragged around town to keep up with his brother’s activities – surely a feature of his life for years to come!
Last week Grammie, Pa, and Aunt Julie visited to meet baby Lukas. Apparently I didn’t do a very good job taking photos during that visit, but he spent a lot of time happily snuggling with Aunt Julie like this:
Here he is at three weeks old, sporting a cool new outfit in his frilly pink bouncer:

Looking back a bit, here he is getting his first bath. We walked over to Greg/Danielle/Leo/Grandma/Grandpa’s house (depending on the season), since the baby bathtub resides there for cousin Leo’s use. We put the bathtub in the earthen (?) shower, an unusual feature of the unusual house, and Leo watched with great interest as this interloper got to play in the water without him:

Nice to see some new photos of Lukas and Ian. While it is true that Ian is closer to the camera in the last photo he makes Lukas look tiny. He certainly is the big brother.
