Back Home

We were very happy to arrive back home in Durham and continue to get settled in. Greg took good care of the dogs while we were gone -- they went on lots of walks to explore our new neighborhood. Here they are tired out, resting on the only soft spot available - the sofa:



To make their lives more comfortable in our concrete-floored loft, we got them two heavily padded doggie beds for Christmas. Here is Lilo modelling hers:



Since we expect Ian to be mobile soon, we also got some modular carpet tiles to create a very colorful area rug in our living room. Here Doug and Ian are admiring it after we (by which I mean Doug and Greg) finished installing it:



It's nice for Ian to be able to get out of his temporary home in the playpen and sit on the floor to play -- he's already starting to scoot around a little in a sitting position, so it's a good thing we're ready for him!:
