Before we left Long Island, we had a chance to see Doug's cousins (on his father's side). Lots and lots of cousins. But first, let's start with great-aunt Maureen, mother and grandmother to the gaggle of cousins. She is the provider of all the cute truck-themed outfits he's been wearing over time. And she is a devoted follower of the blog (write a comment, Aunt Maureen!). Clearly Ian was happy to meet her:
He was also excited to meet his first cousin (once removed) Kathryn and her husband Pablo (other first cousins once removed not pictured):
And then there are the second cousins (sans Ryan, who was busy playing soccer in Florida):
They were very excited to meet Ian. Since we can't see Ian's face here, you can picture it as either thrilled or terrified (and both would probably be correct):
