Ian's crawling speed has increased substantially in the last week. He speeds around everywhere he wants to go these days. This is exciting to watch, although it has some downsides from the parents' perspective. His (supported) standing skills have also gotten quite good, as you can see in this photo of him standing with a single hand holding on to watch Daddy read the Dogs book:

And here is the photo from Saturday, when we all went to the local sandwich shop for lunch. As you can see, Ian is concentrating on his Cheerios, not the least bit surprised that a pit bull is sitting on Daddy's lap next to him. To Ian, this is nothing unusual:
