Ianisms, church edition

- Ian wanted to take communion Sunday, so I picked him up from the kids room and brought him to the service. We talked about the meaning of communion, to remember Jesus by eating the food he shared with his best friends, etc. Ian solemnly took his bread and dipped it in juice. Then when we returned to our pew he said quietly, "But what if I'm still hungry, Mommy?"

- Recounting the Sunday school lesson, Ian: "Goliath was a biiiiig giant man and David was very small. But David asked God to make him strong." me: "And who won?" Ian: "No one won, but Goliath fell over." me: "Because God is bigger and stronger than giants." Ian: "But what if Goliath eats God up?"
