Ianisms, earth science edition

- Ian: I hate tornadoes. I HATE them. Erin: why? Ian: Because I don't know what they are. (this is the only context in which we've heard Ian use the term "hate")

- Ian is very interested in the moon these days. As it was getting dark he spontaneously offered this explanation - Ian: "Little pieces keep falling off of the moon into the sky." Me: "Then how does it get bigger again?" Ian: "The sky starts putting the pieces back on."
