Ok, so he'll be 14 months old tomorrow, but this is the nature of being a second child. We did in fact have a little celebration on Lukie's birthday, in keeping with his little age. He almost missed it, since he usually goes to bed around 5pm. But, he must have known it was his birthday and he woke up for dinner so he could have a song and ice cream. Lukas has gotten through his his first year of life quite seamlessly. The only thing the least bit worrying about him is that he is not a big fan of milk. He weaned himself at 9 months old (after a couple months of struggle -- once he met solid foods at six months he really didn't want milk at all any more). He is different from his big brother in many ways, and this is an example. We appreciate Lukie's easygoing nature and hope he will fit as nicely into the family at 2 as he does at 1.
