Post-Christmas Photos

We are enjoying our tree, and have been busy, and thus still have it up and lit. Here are some random photos, all marginally involving the tree:

This would have been a lovely photo of Doug and Ian reading a Christmas book next to the Christmas tree if I had gotten them in focus and the tree out of focus. They are reading "Jingle Babies", which has babies dressed up as various Christmas things (an elf, a snowman, a candy cane, etc.). We read it all year long, but Doug always complains that it's disturbing because the babies look taxodermied . . . Lately we have been reading it more often because Ian can specifically request it, even if he can't find it ("Babies!"):
