With the arrival of Uncle Greg comes the onset of more strange scenes than normal. Anyone hanging out on our street today would have witnessed these two scenes:
The day did not start out well. Doug, trying to leave early for work (he's in the final stages of a big project), was dismayed to find the only lock on his car iced shut. He took my car, leaving his for Greg to take out later. By 9am, the sun still hadn't quite made it to the car, so my hair dryer was pressed into service, creating this scene:
Later, Greg was entertaining Ian while I put his carseat into the car. Ian was very upset to think I was leaving him (which I wasn't) when I went out the door. So, Greg decided they could make music on the front porch, where Ian could see me. It was actually more raucous before I finished with the car seat and took this video:
