Got Yogurt?

Ian happily started eating rice cereal, bananas, and oatmeal when he was four months old. Then he stopped. We don't know why, but no amount of coaxing has been able to convince him to eat any solid foods lately. We decided to stop trying baby food on a spoon, and skip to finger foods that Ian could try to feed himself. He had some fun pushing foods off the table yesterday, but none really got into his mouth. I read one recommendation online to try something really messy, like yogurt, and that some kids like this best. Success!

We're not sure whether he liked the yogurt, or if it was the really big spoon that got him into it, but at least a few teaspoons of yogurt got into his mouth, and he didn't seem to mind!:

 


With a sheen of yogurt covering his hands and the table (among other things), he was able to successfully pick up some Cheerios. Here he is clapping to congratulate himself on eating his first Cheerio:

OH MY GOSH! TOOOOO CUTE! he has so much hair!!!! awe...im glad he is eating or playing with yogart! looks yum yum! love you Ian!

i just noticed his BIG two TEETH on the bottom they really grew fast!
