Swinging Boy

Today was another beautiful day, so we took Ian to the park down the street. It's a very nice little park with a picnic table and pavilion, and with two good young child targeted playgrounds.

I wanted to protect Ian's head from the sun on the way, but his Pooh sunhat no longer fit. So Uncle Greg lent Ian his hat:

Swinging is definitely Ian's favorite playground activity. He spent a long time in the swing, then returned to swing more before we left. When we took him out, he was still wanting more. Here's the happy swinging boy:

He spent a little time riding the truck with Uncle Greg (his interest right now is mostly in chewing the steering wheel):

And, with a lot of support he can go down the slide:

This was all so exciting that by the time we got home to the loft, he was fast asleep!:
