Little Drummer Boy

Since Ian has shown such an interest in music lately (pushing the buttons on his music toy to play songs constantly, and dancing his little boy dances), we decided he needs some instruments. We ordered five, and first arrived today. Remo is a drum-maker (Doug tells me they are famous for marching band snare drums), and they make a really nice line of drums for children. The drum is very resonant (read: loud, but with a good sound), and sounds like a real drum.

Ian immediately knew what the drum was for. He had fun playing it sitting down:

. . . and standing up:

Stay tuned for more of Ian with his new instruments!
