Ian has done several things that have surprised and amused me in the last week that make me feel like we're entering a new phase:
- Taking produce out of the grocery bag one piece at a time, biting it once, then dropping it on the floor
- Taking off his pajama pants and top and dropping them out of his crib this morning
- Insisting on walking from the car, up the steps, through the mews, and to the loft
- Stepping up over the curb in the parking lot without having to put his hands down for support
- Insisting on holding Lilo's leash while he rode on my back during on our walk this morning (I held it further down) -- he proudly held it for the entire walk!
He is definitely becoming more capable and more interesting (demanding) in actively participating in family life. I feel like my little boy is growing up fast!
