Yesterday Ian and I took advantage of the long weekend to spend the afternoon visiting Greg's cob house. Here it is in its current state, almost ready for exterior plaster (there will be two plaster parties the next two weekends to get this done in celebratory fashion):
Ian was interested to see what his Uncle has been doing when he's not with us:
Here he is getting his first lesson in building from Greg, who is retrofitting a door frame into the house:

He was curious about what Greg was doing outside:
And happy to learn where melons (one of his favorite foods) come from:
