Ian the Engineer

While Grammie and Pa were visiting, Ian also took them to see Daddy's office. Although it's the total opposite of the farm and cob house, it is also full of fascinating things from Ian's perspective.

Opening and closing all the drawers in the conference room was fun:

Here Ian is checking out a system Doug built to demonstrate some new technology. Ian ignored the complex lego contraption and went straight for the wires, always his favorite:



Then on to the really cool stuff! Here Ian is perched on the furnace of a reactor that Doug is building. Appropriately, he was wearing his new Star Wars shirt (thanks Aunt Julie!):

It's too early to know yet whether Ian will be an engineering type of guy. But in any case, we expect the kDy office to be a cool place for him to explore for many years!
