Up, up, up

The magnet school across the street from us held their annual Strawberry Festival fundraiser today. People drove from all around to attend, so we were happy to be able to walk and not have to look for a parking spot. There were lots of activities for kids, but none that were suitable for someone as young as Ian. Unfortunately he's also not old enough to eat strawberries, but he did enjoy a little whipped cream from my strawberry shortcake:

We watched a youth hiphop dance group perform at the festival, and we know Ian enjoyed it because he clapped when everyone else applauded. Here he is enjoying some relaxation with Daddy after returning home:

Ian has shown some interest in the stairs lately, but has only gotten his leg up the first step a few times. Suddenly today it clicked and he proceeded quickly up the entire staircase!:
