We have many relatives who we are looking forward to seeing, and who are doubtless looking forward to meeting Ian. Two of these missing relatives are Elaine's brother Greg and her grandmother. Greg is a very talented artist (as well as an industrial designer, and a builder of houses out of mud, sticks, and straw), so he made some signs for Ian to hold as captions. I will allow Ian to describe this "modeling" experience in his own words.
"Here you see me modeling two signs. They represent the very real gender dichotomy set up in the minds of expectant parents and relatives when Mom and Dad opt to skip bombarding me with intrusive and unnecessary sound waves."
"This modeling stuff is tiring work. I'm exhausted."
"Yawn!"
"But I guess I still have just enough energy to shout out to my great-grandmother."

Oh my gosh, you guys crack me up with those pictures! He is sooo cute! I hope I can come over and see him when I get back from Toronto!
