Still Waiting

Despite our dramatic walk last night, there is still no sign of labor. By the way, I don't think Doug really made it clear how hard it was raining - it was spectacular. There were waves of rains that were so hard they were painful. I had to chase one of my flip-flops down the river which had sprung up in our street. The poor dogs kept stopping to shake, as though that would do any good. The power finally came back on in the middle of the night last night, so now we're back to normal.

Since there is still no baby today, I am planning to finish some projects around the house that have been on my list for a while -- clean out the guest bathroom drawers and move the baby's bath stuff in, clean out the baby's closet, clean out my car, etc. I suppose it is good to have the chance to get these things done before the baby arrives, but soon I will have finished the tasks on my list and just be waiting!
