Why Daddies Need Machines

Thursday morning I had a meeting at work at 8am. So I got Ian up early and dropped him off with Doug at 7:45 (I actually got there on time - Doug was shocked). But in my haste, I left the ring that screws the nipple onto the bottle at home on the counter. I knew Ian would be hungry soon, so I warned Doug and hurried to my meeting. When I arrived at work I discovered that it had been cancelled (super annoying for an 8am meeting), and went back to pick Ian up and go home. By the time I arrived, Doug had machined a part to replace the one he was missing, and Ian had finished his first bottle. This is why daddies need machines.
