Crazy Uncle Greg - Part II, Hour 1

Ian and I are here in Syracuse (after a long journey, on which we got to visit two former roommates and a great Grandmother on the way!). I called as I was approaching Syracuse to warn my family that I was ready to hand Ian off upon arrival in order to take a shower and a nap. Uncle Greg was ready to instruct and amuse his nephew. It turns out that if you are 3 months old, having a crazy Uncle Greg is exactly what you need. Ian enjoys having people makes funny faces, noises, and motions to entertain him. Most people make a special effort to do this for the sake of babies, but it comes naturally to Greg. Ian finds him quite interesting.

Greg is very passionate about the outdoors, and he immediately took Ian out to show him what's going on in the yard:

Peering into the pond looking for froggies:

Greg shows off his almost-finished clay oven (more on this later):

Ian takes a close look:

Not shown: Greg and Ian dancing to the Beatles.
