The End of an Era

Today Ian became, in theory, able to move an unlimited distance. For the first time he rolled from his belly to his back (Yay, Ian!). Although this is a very new skill, I imagine that he will quickly practice more and discover that this allows him to roll continuously in one direction to get where he wants to. We're doomed :)

At just over four months old now, Ian definitely is moving towards increased mobility. He has started to be able to get around in his walker, although he can barely reach the floor in it. He also makes partially successful attempts to get into a sitting position when he's lying back. Still his favorite motor activity is by far the bouncer (shown here in another doggie outfit from Hermit Thrush):



But, Ian, even though you're feeling quite mature lately, you're not nearly old enough for beer yet!
