On Friday we took our traditional Thanksgiving-in-Bedford hike up the mountain. It was Ian's first serious outdoors experience. It was about 2.5 hours round trip on a kind of cold day, but he snuggled up in his fleece in the baby carrier while I did all the hard work of taking the two of us up to the summit. He talked for the first half hour or so, then napped until we got to the top.
I was careful to step securely in some icy spots:

As you can see, it was rather windy, but Ian seemed happy (once he had a snack!):

That is just an amazingly gorgeous picture of you and Ian at the summit. You look two look so very beautiful in it, and just exude happiness.
