Daddy is more fun
Perhaps it's just because he's more of a novelty to Ian, but lately Doug seems to have the magic touch. Today, when Doug was holding him, Ian was happy and engaged. When he was handed off to me, he was cranky. This seems unfair, since I'm the one who spends the most time taking care of him! But I enjoy watching him have fun with his Daddy . . .

That does seem unfair. I'm glad that Doug is getting to enjoy Ian though since you do spend more time with the boy. Hopefully this turn of events is temporary and he will not be more cranky with either of you than the other.
oh thats makes me happy the look on Ian and Dougs faces! ...ugh i just want to hold him crying or happy!
