Hangin'

Ian relaxing in his bathrobe after his last bath:

Today Ian suddenly developed a new skill. I've got a good video of him in action. I'll keep you in suspense until I can post it, but guesses are welcome. (The Mac is currently running an alternative operating system, so I can't get to iMovie - long story).

We just returned from the women's retreat at church. This was likely Ian's one and only opportunity to attend this all-women event. He enjoyed himself, got lots of attention, and was quite well behaved. Everyone comments about what a good, easy baby he is, and how he "never cries". I invite them to have been with me two nights ago when he awoke every half hour for a few hours, screaming, hungry, and thrashing around the whole time he was nursing. He punched me in the face several times, giving me a swollen lip in two places. Yes, I've been beaten up by an 8 week old . . .

He reads Homer and does somersaults? Really how do you keep up with him?

Ian, you look like an old man in this photo!

Since it is a skill that is best demonstrated by video my guess is that he can roll over from being on his front to end up on his back.

I agree with Hermit... I think that he needs a pipe and some kind of retreiver laying next to him.

BUT... I got some good Ian loving that day.
