Papoosified

Since before he was born, I've been excited about the possibility of "wearing" Ian in a sling or carrier. We started out with a ring sling, but have been somewhat disappointed with its ability to hold Ian comfortably and securely. After much research, we purchased an Ergo baby carrier today. I tried it this evening, and so far it is awesome. It's very comfortable, and I feel like Ian is quite secure in it. He's not quite tall enough yet to sit in it the standard way, with his legs out the sides, so he has his feet tucked under him for now. I'm hoping it will solve the problem I've been having the last few days, in which Ian refuses to nap without me holding him. He can be fast asleep in my arms, but the moment I put him down (ever so gently), he is awake and soon crying. I am told that he may inherit this from his Uncle Greg . . .
